Film Clip Show: Smith College

13.November 2010

A few more images from Columbus Day and our day trip West.  These were all taken around sunset-time at Smith – a very happy time to be in a very happy place.

Fig. 1. I like to think of this as my version of the Wanderer über dem Nebelmeer.  This is Calvin über dem Nebelmeer.

Fig. 2. This is blurry, but I don’t care.  Spider and sunset.

Fig. 3. Anyone who’s been there knows that the sun turns the trim on the boat house all sorts of colors.  This day it was pink.

Fig 4. There’s moss growing on the dock.  I like that.

Fig. 5. Y’all know this lady.  I think she looks particularly moody in this picture.

These are gorgeous. I especially like the first one. What cameras/film were you using?

Thanks! These were all shot on my old Canon EOS 300 – I think this batch was Velvia 50 slide film. Processed as slides – i.e. not cross processed.

Awesome! Em, die Fotos sind wirklich unglaublich. Am liebsten habe ich Calvin. Ich würde ihn so gerne kuscheln.

Danke danke!
